Let’s explore the Continent!

Europe Travel

Are you dreaming of European travel, but aren’t sure where to begin? You’ll find such a wide variety of cultures, languages, customs accents, and lifestyles that you might find it hard to narrow down to a single destination. The good news is that most European countries are similar in size to American states. Their public transit system is far superior to the U.S. too, so you can easily get from one country to another. I can’t wait to help you find the perfect itinerary that fits your unique travel style, and budget.

What I Think You’ll Love About Europe Travel

  • These are the things that I love and I think you will too. Or maybe you’ll find completely different things to love about Europe.
  • I love that nearly every city is walkable and that public transportation is so readily available.
  • I love that every country is dripping in a deep, rich history that is uniquely its own, yet interwoven with the rest of the world.
  • Many people around the world, like us, have family histories that can be traced back to Europe.
  • I’m always impressed by the magnificent architecture, the cobblestone streets, cathedrals, abbeys, bridges, medieval walls, castles, and visual treasures around every corner.
  • Tasting the range of delicious cuisines and culinary delights is certainly one of the things I look forward to in my trip planning every time we visit Europe.
  • I love exploring all aspects of the Fine Arts. Listening to street performers or a symphony orchestra, wandering through art museums or stumbling onto neighborhood murals, tipping a juggler in the town square, or seeing a world-renowned theater performance are all part of the European experience.
  • Europe travel makes being a travel blogger easy because there’s so much beauty and culture to explore and write about.

France

Is the romance of Paris one of the first places that come to mind when you think of Europe travel? It’s hard to deny the romantic images of the Eiffel Tower, Parisian cafes, and strolling along the River Seine.

It can be a great place to start your Europe travel adventures, but there’s much more to see in France besides Paris.

Are you a foodie looking for a culinary adventure? Then try a sweet or savory French galette or make plans to visit Provence for a Truffle Festival in the winter. We loved learning about the 4 C’s of Normandy cuisine and tasting the local ciders and Camembert cheese when we were there.

Our full day tour of the historic sites of World War II in Normandy was sobering and enlightening. It helped us appreciate the sacrifices made by our allies and many Americans in that horrific war.

We spent another day strolling through the magical island of Mont Saint Michel nearby. The Bordeaux wine region and the French Riviera are just a few of the destinations you can choose from when you plan your trip to France in Europe.
