Travel is the Only Thing You Buy That Makes You Richer

Today I’m introducing an awesome company that I recently discovered. They connect people like you with a variety of opportunities to travel and work abroad for months at a time or longer and get paid for it. Meet Tyla

First up is Tyla Mansergh. Tyla has been traveling since 2016. Born in Zimbabwe, Tyla grew up all over Australia and has also lived and worked in the United Kingdom. She is currently on a working holiday at a gorgeous ski lodge in Canada with the help of The Global Work & Travel Co. Tyla doesn’t have a degree from a university, nor did she have a lot of work experience, but that hasn’t stopped her from pursuing her travel dreams. The GWTC is helping her achieve them.

Tyla’s Travel Tip:
Meet as many people as possible.

“For me, it’s meeting new people…People really do make or break your whole experience and I’m very lucky to have met only amazing people on my trips. I also feel it’s a way to grow and mature in a specific way only traveling can. There’s something about being in a foreign country with no one you know that excites me and gets me booking that next trip. It’s an indescribable feeling that can only be felt if you do it. Like skydiving, you can’t explain to someone who’s never tried it… how amazing that free fall is, the point where you just feel like you’re floating on clouds whilst looking out to some of the most spectacular views. That was the Swiss Alps on a clear, sunny winter’s day for me.”

Meeting as many people as possible while traveling opens doors to places a person may have never heard of before. It can also fulfill a dream to visit a destination never thought attainable. People are placed on this earth for creating connections and building community. The result is people gaining confidence in themselves by simply learning more about others, where they come from and what makes them “them.”

Meet George

Next up, we’d like to introduce you to George Aslanidis. He is 27 years old and currently working for an adventure travel company in the United Kingdom, with The Global Work and Travel Co.’s help. His reason for utilizing the organization’s services was driven by his desire to work abroad and live outside of his comfort zone. When George discovered the company, he knew that they were a good fit and that they could help him achieve this specific goal. This made him more determined than ever to make it happen as soon as possible.

George’s Travel Tip:
Not having a plan can be the best plan.

“I find that my outlook in life is a bit more open and that it’s okay to live in uncertainty. That vulnerability soothes the soul and the ability to explore the world through your eyes are what matters. Not the perception that you get on television or from anyone else. I am still learning more about myself with each day that passes and that makes me more excited for what is yet to come.” – George Aslanidis

Not all those who wander are lost. Getting lost can sometimes lead to the most extraordinary experiences. The same rings true for the best plan, which can mean not having a plan at all. Spending a day, week, or more not knowing what will come wherever you’re traveling can lead to a memorable moment in a person’s life.

Meet Stephanie

Last, but certainly not least, is 30-year old Stephanie Della Porta. Stephanie has been a courtroom clerk, artist, photographer and yoga teacher. She is passionate about living creatively, whether that’s through her art, her work or the way she uses her body. She didn’t want to know the answer to, “What will you be doing in the next two to five years?”.

Stephanie wanted to be available for life to happen to her and for the last year and a half living in Australia, she has continued to find her ongoing answer. She has time to find adventure along with work abroad at a coastal island resort. Surrounded by the wonders of nature on land and sea, life is full, thanks to The Global Work & Travel Co.

Stephanie’s Travel Tip:
Making a living is not the same as living.

“I wanted to change the direction of my life. So, I changed my perspective. I broke free from society’s idea that you need to work a 9 to 5 job in order to have security, safety and wealth. I choose to live in a way that brings me the most happiness.” – Stephanie Della Porta

“You all have the choice to run your life the way you want to. I figured out a long time ago that making a living was not the same as living. I find that fear stops us daily from doing things. Fear of quitting your job. Fear of, “what am I going to do?” Fear of, “how am I going to make money?” Fear of, “where am I going to live?” We live in a society that’s so based on fear all of the time. Security is false. Feel secure within yourself. You can live anywhere. You can make money doing whatever you want. Say ‘YES’ to yourself.” – Stephanie Della Porta
