Quote of the Day – Our Job is to Love
This quote is by Thomas Merton. Mr. Merton became a monk at the Abbey of Gethsemani at Trappist, Kentucky, on December 10, 1941. It was one day after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
His writings covered a range of controversial issues, involving social problems and Christian responsibility: race relations, violence, nuclear war, and economic injustice.
